  • First off, the person who was supposed to take my appointment did not save it, so the staff was behind when I went in for my appointment this morning. Not a big deal, they still were able to see me. Just upsetting to hear that it was not saved. Perhaps this played into my long wait time...? Waited for quite some time to see the doctor, nearly an hour after my appointment time, even after showing up about 15 minutes early. Dr. Jaz was very informative and friendly and was eager to dig into me. That is a good thing. I however deferred the treatments due to cost and the inability of the staff to tell me how much the procedures would cost from insurance. They say that it is the problem with insurances and the way that they interpret the procedures, so they cannot give a solid answer. I wish I had the money to spend on the procedures as Dr. J had a solution for all my concerns. Very upset that I would have to pay completely out of pocket for "cosmetic" procedures. I guess with the new insurance reforms, if it is not killing you, then it is not important. Overall I would return to this dermatology office, hoping that the wait time would be reduced. The staff was very understanding with my concern for Big Insurance sticking me with a bill as this has happened to me before. I would also inquire in more detail about what I would like done before I go in again so that I do not waste everyone's time. Thanks again for the information and understanding. Very professional.
