| - Went there last week to get trimmed up after letting my hair grow out a bit. Booked an appt online using their website, very cool feature but wish they would improve this so its mobile friendly. Would make using the tool a bit easier, trackable, help foster client loyalty, and prob drive more referral and walk-in business. I didn't pick the barber cause I hadn't been there since they opened up a few years ago. The cut I had back then was mediocre and the shave was just meh but years later I thought I'd give them another try. This time I was greeted by a friendly staff member who took my coat and got me setup in their system for future visits.
Very glad I booked this place, requested the Classic Cut from Joshua and he did a fantastic job. Friendly guy and kept the conversation light while cutting so we talked about the holidays and upcoming travel plans. Definitely not like some of the amateurs in 'sauga or downtown who answer phone calls and texts while cutting clients. We started with a quick pre-wash, towel dry, and then he started cutting with scissors and occasionally used a T-liner and a couple other finishing tools when required. Did a final wash, styling, and I was in and out within 45 mins [no wait since I booked in advance].
Cut was $45 taxes in [they accept debit/credit] and $10 cash tip to barber. All in all great experience, much better than when they first opened but ultimately its the barber that determines the quality of service - not the TV's, gaming consoles, or magazines meant to entertain walk-ins. All that stuff is a nice bonus though.
