Situated in a university town it has a little bit of toned down ambiance. Of course, room is what matters the most and the configuration we got (sofabed plus a queen size bed) was ok. Room
lighting was remarkably dull and the bathroom shower (after you draw the shower curtain) was downright dark. Hey, I am all for going green with LEDs and what matters is that none of us bumped into any furniture - so it can't be all that bad.
It being a Saturday, there were were several college bound teenagers and their parents staying at the place. Breakfast area got real busy and it was quite a task just moving around. Servers had a tough time keeping up. Here's a tip - get there early if you want to dine in peace. They have outside patio dinning but don't know how often you can use that in Pittsburgh. Servers clearly look tired and a little bit on the "overwhelmed/annoyed" side.
