I've been to Timpone's twice. The first time, I thought the food was specatular and was wowed by the experience. I ordered the Foie Gras and Ahi Tuna and thought the quality was comparable to some of the better places in Chicago. However, on my second try the food was a lot worse. It was the night of an important football game so the place was deserted - but no excuse to be serving sub-par food. Overall, I like the place and will definitely be back to give it a third try.
