An annual tradition (and one of the bigger festivals on the east coast)! Wench auctions, jousts, street performers, period music, hilarious comedy acts, and lots of artisan craftmakers selling their wares. Feel free to wear your costume (or rent one from the costume shop near the main gate). The food is fantastic and there is plenty of beer and mead. Don't be surprised if the town idiot follows you around, mocking your cellphone call with a banana.
My only gripe is that they could spare an extra person or two for each food and beverage stall. The lines are incredibly long.
Fall will never be a truly fun season without at least one trip to the Renaissance Festival!
