  • Been wanting to try this place for a while, I bought the yelp deal and me and my husband went to get some take out. Honestly there is a few restaurants in town that is probably way better. I had the brisket w 2 sides, the portions is good but the meat is bland. I was expecting it to have that smoky taste to it but it tasted like the meat was boiled. If it wasn't for the bbq sauce that was drench in it probably would have just tasted nothing.Beans and Mac n cheese is ok not crazy about them and the corn bread was hard and old.The peach cobbler is cold and was told we have to microwave it. Husband has the 2 meat/2sides, he had he pulled pork and rib tip and same thing can't taste the smoke bbq at all,it's bland.all you can taste was the bbq sauce.He had the fried jalapeños and it was over cooked it looked liked it was sitting there for a while and they had to re fry it. All in all the cashier was nice and food is just ok,But I probably won't be coming back.
