I was referred to Dr. Wang because I've been struggling with migraines for 20 years. My first visit was awesome. Dr. Wang was attentive and had a lot of empathy about how my migraines were impacting my life, but I haven't seen him since. I've seen two different nurse practitioners since and both spent more time looking at the computer screen than making eye contact with me.
It's nice to get quick service, but at the same time it almost feels like counter specialists services, and I'm not there to order a big mac.
They are definitely helping me to improve my migraines, and I'm not sure if going to a doctor should have the same feeling as a sit down dinner. The health outcome is what really matters, and I believe in that area they are serving their function.
