  • Handel's was absolutely amazing and I'm really glad I did not miss out on this ohio treat. The servers were really welcoming and patient with us while we were ordering. Even though there were a lot of people, our server took the time to let us sample a variety of different flavors, even opening other windows to accommodate the other guests. I eventually settled on a pint of the buckeye and the ore-dough. The buckeye was a rich peanut butter, chocolate ice cream with piece of the candy inside it. Although it got a bit tiring/strong and too sweet after having a lot of it, it was still very good. The ore-dough I enjoyed a lot the whole way through. It was a vanilla ice cream with chunks of cookie dough and oreo in it. I'm a sucker for cookie dough, but the way the two work together with the vanilla made it enjoyable the whole way through. All in all, I couldn't resist getting a whole pint of ice cream, even though I'm currently trying to maintain a low sugar diet. Completely worth it.
