  • I have passed by this location many times and they always have a nice crowd. Tonight, we decided to try out Bonito for my birthday dinner. The atmosphere was authentic and our server was very helpful. I had the chorizo tacos, which were filled with their homemade chorizo and served with rice, beans, and a scoop of guacamole. Their chorizo was good, not too spicy, but smoky. My partner got a combination platter with a chile relleno, taco, and enchilada. He said everything was good as well. This location offered a free house margarita for checking in for Yelp users. The drink was actually very good and I ordered another. I did notice they only give each table one complimentary chips/salsa/beans starter and charging $3.50 for additional refills. I have to say I've never encountered this, even at more upscale restaurants. The beans served were good, the salsa a little too smoky for me. All in all, Bonito offered an authentic Mexican dinner for my birthday this year. There was a nice live band performing and the service was very good. We will more than likely be back to try some other options.
