  • Wow, These people are amazing! My Pit is losing the use of her back legs. She needed a wheelchair for dogs. My research told me that 1.)these were the only people in Vegas that did fittings and ordered them. 2.) Count on spending at least $395.00. I am on disability and wasn't sure how I was going to afford one for her. I also thought since they were the only game in town, I might have to deal with at least some attitude. Boy, was I wrong. Not only did Mike take her measurements, they had a used one in house that fit her. Mike spent an hour altogether fitting her, adjusting the wheelchair, having her walk and run, (yes, I said run) she loved it. She hasn't been able to run in a long time. And the cost? 0.00, nothing, nada. It was given as a loan to be returned to them when my baby no longer has a need for it. I just paid for an office visit. He was so sweet and gentle with her, lots of loves and rubs and kisses and encouragement. By the time we left, we were comfortable getting her in and out, and she was comfortable getting in and out of the harness. In fact, we went to put it on her at home so we could play in the yard and she went right to it. These people are wonderful they really care and it totally shows. Thank you Mike and Veterinary Specialty Ctr.!
