  • Went to the improved theater the other day and gotta say, it's a major upgrade from the old building. I like how they ask if you want to salt and butter your popcorn before they fill the second half of the bag, the seats are very comfy, and the BIG D is pretty competitive with IMAX. Kudos also goes to customer service. I made the mistake of going to see The Monuments Men and walked out 20 minutes into the movie...it was that bad, and I jokingly asked the manager if I could get a refund for the movie sucking. Not expecting to get anything HE GAVE ME A FREE VOUCHER!!! He said "just this once" but I was stoked. The prices were at least on par with Savoy if not a little cheaper. Also love the self serve soda machines. Way to get back in the game Carmike.
