  • Did it again... but this time with cheese and meat! Ordered a pound of Edam, Bergumer Swiss, Aged Gouda, Parrano and 2 pounds of Parmigaiano Regiano DOC for store pickup Saturday morning. (Tip: do not order online for store pickup on the weekend. Since there is no shipping on the weekends, the Penn Mac crew doesn't check those orders because they are primarily for shipping, not store pickup.) I called. They took care of everything. Six deli meats at the staff's choice and we were set with our own delicious presentation for our daughter and son-in-law's return from the Carribean late Sunday evening. (Actually there is a little less for all of us on Sunday because I had some samples, of course.) Make your own platters with goodies from Penn Mac. Condiments? You had to ask? They have a zillion choices. Beer and wine we have. Everything else comes from Penn Mac. Visit. Make your own presentation. (And save money by dining at home!) By the way, it was the weekend before Easter. The store and sidewalks were jammed with people. Fully staffed, Penn Mac employees were polite, quick and exhibited a great sense of humor. Lines moved fast and everyone on both sides of the counters seemed to be having a good time. Penn Mac is all about the experience.
