I met some friends for brunch on a holiday Monday at this location. I had never been here before and was surprised with their range of fod items. From Sandwiches to mac and cheese to oatmeal and pastries, there was something for everyone at fair prices too.
It was a sunny day so we sat on the patio. It was pretty busy but the tables turned over in an appropriate amount of time and there was no pressure to leave if you weren't ready. It was cool to see so many patrons making sure they cleaned their tables after they left so it would be ready to go for the next person-I think that says something about the neighbourhood and their value of cool places like this. The service was good although the cashier seemed easily confused-at least she was happy.
I had one of their tropical iced drinks and the mac and cheese (both great). My friends had the southwest egg bowl, the soup, the oatmeal and a sandwich-all of which were devoured. I saw neighbouring tables order the largest scones i have ever seen-I'm going to try one of those next time.
There were people there from a nearby seniors facility as well as young kids, runners, teens and everything in between. Its is nice to visit a place that really does appeal to so many different people.
