| - I normally hate buffets and never would have dined here if not for my Dad choosing it for his birthday dinner. My dislike for buffets is due to its food wastage, however, this place is different because they donate uneaten food! I have it a low rating because the food itself is sub par, yet I would have given this place 5 stars for service alone! Amazing staff, that are kind and attentive, and that is everyone from the server to the dessert attendant to pizza chef. If this place was more affordable for the food quality received I would likely bring my family back simply on service alone. With that said, a normal everyday dinner price of $25 a head with no prime rib, crab legs, shrimp, etc. Is excessive. Furthermore, all children over ten years are considered adults. And paying $25, after tax, for each child is simply crazy, especially since my smallish nephew's barely ate a thing. I believe the excessive food wastage at wandering horse is due to people putting visual appealing foods on their plates only to be disappointed and not finishings then going to get something else. At least, that was our experience. I was very upset that I called ahead for a menu and when I got there it was different than described, and it was disappointing. The plus side is they have a pretty brick oven pizza section, however, any dreams of quality crust and amazing toppings is dashed when you take a bite and it is reminiscent of Little Ceasers and not Pizzeria Bianco, but again they will custom make whatever you ask and make it pretty, but they can only work with the poor ingredients they are given. All in all, for service it is excellent, but the food is bad and the selections and variety is worse. The dessert bar was bigger than the normal food selections. Need I say more?
