Have been here twice. The first time, we bought a mango cake (size to feed 15 people). It was delicious and not too moist, loaded with mangos. Returned a few days ago for dinner and what an experience. The staff and owner were very friendly. Great atmosphere with a live jazz band on Friday night that took all of our requests! We ordered Chicken Asado (braised chicken in special sauce), Kare Kare (stewed pork in peanut sauce), Lechon Kawali (deep fried pork fat), and Pancit (thin noodles) with chicken and veggies. Also had Lumpias (deep fried egg rolls with pork filling) as appetizer. Was very pleasantly amazed by the flavors of all the entrees. One thing that stood out was that the lumpias and the lechon was not greasy at all. What a special touch that was and I never had these before without it being greasy. The entrees had very good portions for the price. They were served hot with sides of white rice. The menu selections made you want to try many things (if you had room but probably won't because of the generous portions). For dessert...Halo Halo. The ingredients satisfied your sweet cravings after dinner. The flan on top of the Halo Halo...best I ever tasted!!! It was not overly sweet, but light and smooth llike it should be...amazing!!! If you haven't tried this place, you need to. If you are a regular,...you know what I am talking about!
