  • I normally do not put negative comments on Yelp, but I am so disturbed I don't want anyone else to go through what me and my family went through with Dr. Sullivan. I don't even think 1 star is deserved. If I knew of a COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED button, I would select that one. I was referred by a great friend of mine to Dr. Sullivan. Saying he's the best, very friendly, and the staff is beyond amazing!! The only thing I agree on is the staff: office manager and employees, dental hygienist, everyone BUT Dr. Sullivan. I want to emphasize the staff and hygienists were AMAZING and the ONLY reason I stayed as long as I did. From day one, which I thought he would be over the top happy to have someone new who was referred to him, he was rude, unhelpful, belittled me and my son. Last time I was there, I had some extra work done and he had a contraption in my mouth. First, he seemed annoyed I needed more numbing. He numbed me more and huffed as he walked out. When he was all done, he literally yanked the thing out of my mouth. No warning, no "ok I'm going to take this out now." Literally yanked it out. After he left the hygienist apologized for what he did. That was the last straw for me. Not only was I referred to Dr. Sullivan, but I referred my mom, sister, husband, and son ONLY because the other staff were super nice and the hygienist offers paraffin wax and a warm cloth for neck. I've never felt comfortable with him because of his behavior and attitude toward patients. When I called today to say I am no longer coming back (which my Mom and sister have already moved dentists months ago) I explained why my husband, son, and I moved dentists and was told "I am so sorry you experienced this. We know he's like this but we have just gotten used to it." That is unacceptable!!! NO ONE, patients and staff, should have to "get used to" Dr. Sullivan being rude and completely disrespectful.
