  • I stayed here 15 years ago and had a good experience (I was a kid with my grandparents) and remembered it on a recent trip when we were bringing the whole fam down to Vegas for a short trip. It definitely met our needs traveling with kids. We utilized the full kitchen lots for quick meals and snacks. There were dishes and bakeware available, along with stuff like a toaster and a blender. Loved the extra huge corner tub. My 2 year old went swimming in it, though the outdoor pool is heated and open year round. Washer and dryer in the closet is a huge plus! This hotel feels really secure, too. Double entry doors for the 1 bedroom suite that both require a key card and the elevator doesn't work without a key either. While off strip, it's really only steps away from the strip, so I wouldn't let that stop you from staying here. It's directly behind the flamingo, and you can walk through there to get to the strip or go around trough the Linq Promenade which has lots of great dining and shopping. We were never bugged about the timeshares. No complaints at all, we had a blast.
