We wanted to try a good crepe place in Arizona that was comparable to Crepevine in California, but I can't compare the two because the crepes here are totally different.
Le chalet has a more french cafe atmosphere. Service was a little slower pace compared to a chain restaurant, which was good. We didn't feel rushed to quickly eat our food and get out. We received a complimentary appetizer, which was very good. We ordered a Croque Monsieur which could have been an entree for one of us that tasted a lot better than a regular ham and cheese sandwich.
The crepes had the right amount of cheese and meat none of which overwhelmed the whole crepe.
We ordered the Crepe Tatin which was a little heavy on the caramel, but still tasted good. The apples were fresh, whipped cream was light, and the toasted almonds added a nice crunch.
