The Doubletree Inn is a good choice to those looking for an alternative to the noise, crowd and traffic of the Strip. It's a modern hotel with plenty of parking. We got cookies at check-in and there are no resort fees that jack up your bill. There is a paid breakfast buffet with lots of choices.
Now for the negatives. The bathtub in our room drained very very slow. It still had a lot of water a couple of minutes after you shut off the faucet. This means that while you are showering, you are standing in the dirty water. Also, the air condition is very noisy when the fan turns on.
