They have a nice selection and all, but the sales were a bit pushy. And for all their talk wonderful prices ("I can't even buy them wholesale at these prices anymore!") a little more research proved them to be less than competitive. Allow me to reconstruct a recent visit:
Stephen K.: Hi, I don't know anything about rings
BrownLee: Do you want a solitaire?
Stephen K.: I'm not 100% sure what that means, can you show me one?
*BrownLee produces a ring*
Stephen K.: Oh, no, I don't think that's her style. I want a little less BOOM and a little more complexity
BrownLee: Well, this is a GF6blahblahblah
Stephen K.: I don't know what that means
BrownLee: It's a measure of clarity.
Stephen K.: Is that good clarity or poor clarity?
BrownLee: Now, THIS is a ER7
Stephen K.: Uhh... is that better?
BrownLee: And it has a SI certification
Stephen K.: What does that mean?
BrownLee: The diamond comes with a certificate
I never did learn what the certificate meant. Can the stone do my taxes?
