| - Came here twice at the behest of an insurance company. The first time I dont remember what insurance company it was. The second time was State Farm. I figured if State Farm used them they had to do good work. At the time I had no clue about their pricing or service since the insurance companies were handling everything. I assumed that they were one of the pricier body shops.
This time, my insurance company was handling the claim (cant locate the driver that hit the car) and they did not have any preferred body shops in the area. They told me to get my own estimates, they would cut me a check, and the rest would be up to me. I called ABRA first but they were all booked up. I went to several other local and chain body shops and got quotes. I had mixed experiences-- some of them seemed downright rude, incompetent, and/or slimy. By the time ABRA had an opening, things still werent resolved with the insurance company, so I went in for an estimate. Much to my surprise, they had the lowest estimate out of everyone. I mentioned that who said: "We're the best. We repair as much as possible, other shops just throw replacement parts on, which costs more." He may have been right.
They had my work done a day early and my car looks better than when I bought it.
A couple weeks later something came loose underneath the bumper (a cover or something). Could have been related to their work, completely unrelated, I could have ran over something on the highway, no clue. I went back and asked them. They replaced the cover, no questions asked, in a matter of about 10 minutes.
If there's a better body shop in Madison, I havent found 'em.
