My Countryman was a pain to own. The battery drained constantly if it was not driven every three days and I was told it was because it was a high performance vehicle. Every three days?? I ended up having to break into the car when the battery died again and the manual key mechanism failed me, leaving the car impossible to lock again. I couldn't get an appointment with this location to fix the problem for a week after the failure, which meant my car sat unlocked on the street for a week. No one seemed to care when I called. Mini is interested in warranty work but nothing else, so clients may find their attitude changes once the warranty expires, just wait!! They were not very helpful generally, and seemed to lack any interest in really helping the client. I loved driving the car when it was working but I'll never own a Mini product again, it has some serious problems. Really think carefully before purchasing a Mini and read the online reviews of the vehicles to understand what you are getting into and how your relationship with this dealership will change post warranty. The cars look nice and are fun to drive but you will need a leave of absence from work to deal with the issues once they start.
