| - UGH! I have a fleet of 10 cars I manage, being from New England I was loyal to and loved Valvoline, thinking Terrible's was the next best thing I've been coming here for 3 years; I want to scream every time I leave! (Note, this review is on the Lube shop only)
I hate that they assume I don't give a shit about my car, sure they go thru some facade of telling me information, all useless information ("we filled up your washer fluid"), and when I ask a question they brush it off.
Today's example: car has been leaking oil for a month, I'm curious if there was any oil left, I ask. He tells me it wasn't low, I clarify, he again tells me it wasn't low. I tell him I find that hard to believe and why, so he says "I don't know if it was low" and calls to someone else (Terry) to ask if it was low. WTF!? Don't just tell me what you think I want to hear! (Thank you to Terry for being real and giving me the info I was after)
Last week's example: I came in for a cabin air filter, they physically check it out, tell me they have to order the part and to come back. I come back and right off the bat the blue shirt manager tells me that car doesnt even have a cabin air filter! (It does, Valvoline changed it with me sitting right there watching) Then he and the black shirt manager give me attitude because I didn't come back within the month and they returned the part, sorry! So he tells me to go get the part myself, good idea. I get the part and bring it back only to be told that they can't change that filter and don't know why I even want it, or came there for it! (Gee, idk, maybe because it's recommended maintenence and you're the place I bring my cars for maintenence!?)
Anyway, after countless aggregations over the last 3 years with 10 cars I'm ecstatic to see there is now a Valvoline in my neighborhood! (And of course, for any major repairs I go to Dad's Garage on Rancho!)
Goodbye Terrible's, your name serves you well!
