This place is great. Kendra has the wrong info though. It is both an urgent care and an internal medicine but there are two different doctors. The Internal med Dr only sees his own scheduled patients. Urgent care Dr sees whoever walks in the door. Long wait times happen when there is an emergency situation. Usually when someone requires stitches, that takes about an hour to handle properly. The other reason for long wait times if when more then 5 people show up at once. If you compare your visit to say the hospital.. The wait time is far less at urgent care. I went to banner tbird once because i thought i had a stroke and they made me wait 5 hours in the lobby and 9 hours total to be told I had a panic attack. I would have rather killed a few hours versus all day. The secret to quick service is either get there early or go closer to noon. It is quite busy after 5pm. They only have two urgent care rooms; when internal med is closed they use their rooms to triage you faster but there is still only 1 provider.
