  • Still solid pizzas. I tried the lunch special yesterday. The fig & arugula salad is outstanding! It's a perfect balance of spicy (arugula), sweet (fig), salty (feta), and tangy (vinaigrette). That was certainly a highlight of yesterday's visit. The margherita pizza was interesting. Sammy's interpretation is sliced roma tomatoes and julienned basil on top of melted mozzarella. I usually don't do too many raw tomatoes, but I nonetheless dug it. I'd order it again. Without a doubt, Sammy's is still one of the top dining spots in Green Valley. If you have any doubts, try any of Sammy's pizzas and you'll understand.
