I have been going to this place for years and to start off positive. The remodel they did was amazing! The seats are very comfortable and (for a movie theater) the prices are affordable. It is mostly clean and it is the closest theater to my home.
Now to the not positive - assigned seating! YES! Just like kindergarten - you have to pick a seat from a screen and that's the one you are stuck with! If you are seated next to people talking during the movie - you can't change seats! If you are, like me, and suffer from motion issues when you are too close to the screen - tough! Pick from a screen and hope for the best.
I just treated my mom to a movie, popcorn and a water - total spend $40.00! I immediately got ill as soon as the previews started. I actually had to get out of my (comfortable) seat and stand in the stairwell to watch the movie from a distance where my motion sickness was not a factor!
This is the third time I have gone to an assigned seat theater and by far the worst experience. In an age when theaters want to get people in the door - I won't be going in this door anymore.
I'd rather drive across town to an AMC that doesn't have assigned seating where I have a choice about how close I sit to the screen and have options to change seats if there is something keeping me from enjoying the movie.
