This place exceeded my expectations. When you enter, you have the choice of staying downstairs, but upstairs is where the party is at. You'll walk through a glassed hall with antiqueish-looking sinks running water.
There is a bar with couches along the sides, and a dance floor with VIP seating surrounding it. Downstairs is where the lounge and restaurant is at. If you want to chill outside, you have to go from the lounge area.
The bartenders are the nicest compared to all the other Vegas clubs. Tip them generously the first time and they'll hook you up sick the rest of the night. The DJ played an awesome mix of music and that really is important when you're partying and getting drunk. What topped the night was P. Diddy showing up. From then on, it was a "Bad Boy" night. The DJ played all his old hits and everyone just went hog wild.
If I had to choose between Tao or Lavo, I'd definitely pick Lavo. I love the location (inside Palazzo), and I love the decor. Lavo will definitely be a place I'll frequent when I'm in town. Hopefully next time I can try their restaurant!
