| - This was our second time here at Tender. I remember the first time being a little bit better, but it still was a great experience.
So considering Tender is inside the Luxor, the quality of this place is great. We made reservations, we were seated within 5 minutes, and our server was efficient. Highs and Lows:
- The bread and pumpkin seed pesto was delicious.
- The photographer kept lurking around. Annoying.
- The shrimp cocktail was delicious, but not enough. It came with 4, which is probably normal, but they served it with a number of different dipping sauces, which only accentuated that there were only 4 shrimp.
- I got the filet mignon. I ordered medium, but this was definitely medium rare. Still good enough to finish.
- The husband got the porterhouse. He would have picked up the bone and gnawed on it if I would've let him. It was that delicious. He also got the mushroom sauce, which he loved.
- The green bean casserole was great.
- The Yukon mashed potatoes were very smooth and rich.
- For dessert, we got the grandma's chocolate cake, which was recommended by our waiter. It was obviously sitting in the freezer for a while, but it was delicious!
- We also ordered the espresso martini with our dessert...FREAKING AMAZING! It was sweet, but strong and super delicious!!!
