  • As an SPG Elite member (thanks to my Delta Platinum Status), I was upgraded from a normal room to a room with a river view + balcony. Talk about being spoiled! I opted out of housekeeping for the three night stay (you get additional SPG points when you defer service), but because there were three (3) full sized towels in the room, I didn't have to bother for any other toiletries (wait - I take that back - I needed more shampoo.) Overall, a consistent experience everytime I stay at a Westin. Awesome ambiance, and this hotel for the rate is the best value you can get in downtown Toronto. (The Tim Horton's across the street doesn't hurt either.)
