My son started attending when he turned 18 months for 2 half days. We loved Ms Brenda. She and our son formed a bond that we could see. She made us feel comfortable sending him there as this was his first time away from us. However, when he moved up to the 2 year old classroom, we had serious concerns. I witnessed the teacher yell at a child who took another child's potato chip saying, "What are you doing? You could be allergic." This was in front of me. On the 3rd day in the 2 year old room, my son came home In Excruciating pain. I noticed a bump on his collarbone and took him to the ER to find out he broke his collarbone. He told me he had fallen on the playground. When I called the school, teachers, staff and the director all told me nothing had happened and that he was "fine and happy" all day. I find this incredibly difficult to believe as my son was in terrible pain. Even though they have cameras the director stated that they do not record. This has completely shattered my trust in daycare/preschool centers. They never called me to tell me what had happened and continued to deny that he had gotten hurt at school.
