  • This is a wonderful mom & pop sushi shop. When they first opened I only lived a block away and I was there all the time. This place may look unassuming, but they have good quality food at reasonable prices. Their American Dream roll is still one of my favorite rolls. Eat there enough and they'll get to know you. They're located near the UW hospital and get a fair number of customers who are visiting patients. I remember number of years ago they added a menu item just for a family whose child was being treated at the hospital - a little bit of home for a family who had been uprooted by disease. There are a couple of parking spots in back, but street parking isn't hard to find. Stop in for something to go, or pull up a chair and watch the sushi being made on a TV screen in restaurant area.
