I was really excited to try out the Delano but unfortunately my stay here was not the best. The rooms are very nice and spacious and they were overall clean before and throughout the our stay. The problems really reside with the staff that was working during our vacation. I had purchased two rooms with the strip view and both of those rooms came with a wet bar with a fridge. I wanted to have my second room fridge locked to avoid any accidental charges while my friends and I got crazy. So I called and they were super nice and told me that the fridge was locked. I went to check and nope, it wasn't locked so I called again and the same thing happened. This went on for about 5 to 6 phone calls, they even sent someone up but it still wasn't locked so I gave up. Honestly it's not a big deal but it was definitely annoying. We also had problems with both rooms not draining water properly so we could not take long showers, plus sometimes the drains smelled like rotten eggs. Not very classy considering the money I dropped on the rooms. On our last night there we returned to the main room and there was a cockroach squirming around in our bathroom. I called the front desk and they put me on hold for 15 minutes while they figured out a way to accommodate us. They gave us a room a few floors away but never offered for anyone to come help us move our bags. When we got to the other room it was a huge disappointment to find it was not the strip view I had paid for. I really wanted to like this hotel but the service was bad. They acted like we were inconveniencing them. I won't be back to stay here and I really can't recommend this hotel to anyone.
