Where to start? When I called for an appointment I asked what everything (color, highlights, cut and style) would cost. I was told because I was a new client my haircut was free with a color service. What they don't tell you is if they need to mix up extra color it's an extra charge. And if they use a toner on you it's an extra charge. Well, my hair is about 1" below my ears and she said she had to mix up more color so thinking pretty much everyone would get hit with this charge. I've never had someone glob on so much color on my head in my life. My head actually felt heavy! And not sure what they use there but it was making my eyes burn and my scalp was all red afterwards. Then I'm not even given a choice about toner. She just applies it and I get that charge, too. So out the door it was $160!!!
The worst part was it was $160 for the worst haircut I've ever had in my life. I brought in a photo on my Ipad to show her. I knew I was in trouble when she had to keep seeing it again and again as she was doing her cut. The styling wasn't any better. It was like she didn't know how to do the style I wanted at all. I think she was cutting with dull scissors or something because she left my hair full of split ends. She never checked her cut so ended up with some parts too long and some parts too short. I haven't been able to do anything with it since.
I'm really disappointed after reading all those wonderful reviews. Now I wonder if they're even real. The receptionist wasn't welcoming, water was served in a styrofoam cup, the hand massage lasted about 30 seconds, the hair dye burned my eyes and scalp and left my hair very dry, it's overpriced and worst of all I could have gotten a better cut at SuperCuts.
