  • After researching exterior paints I decided on purchasing Dunn Edwards top of the line Evershield paint to the tune of 35 gals at $40 plus a gal. I powerwashed the exterior stucco and applied the paint with a sprayer. After 2 years this paint is showing serious fading and looks terrible. The color is a light beige, which is the original color of the house. My neighbor did his house at the same time with a darker color and cheaper paint without power washing the surface and his looks better. The clerk at the store told me I should get 15 years easily out of this paint. Looks like I won't get 5 years out of this expensive paint. I won't use Dunn Edwards paint again.
