  • VERY dissapointed with the cake my wife bought here for my birthday last week. I felt so bad for her after the extensive on-line research for a great cake bakery in town., since we are new in town. She contacted the bakery for a chocolate based cake suggestion, and was politely guided and ordered a 6" chocolate with chocolate cream cheese icing. $30 plus later and eaten the same day, the 4 of us were very dissapointed. First if all it was a butter cream icing and not the cream cheese she oredered. Secondly the cake part was very dry. Almost had a burnt taste. We only ate a third of the cake and the rest remains in the fridge uneaten. Needless to say, my wife was embarrassed after all of her effort in choosing a bakery. this bakery should be ashamed of their quality control. I assume this is not the norm.
