rev:text	I'm not a fan of writing negative reviews. That said, I feel compelled to caution everyone away from this horrible excuse of an apartment. What I'm describing is not an exaggeration or ramblings of an overly sensitive tenant. For your safety both physically and of your possessions, I strongly urge anyone considering this dump to look elsewhere. 2 months ago, my car was hit by someone right in front of the apartment building- no witnesses and no surveillance cameras. The police came out and took my statement, but management did nothing, even after my futile attempts to contact them on multiple occasions. Utilities are separate, but what they don't tell you is that it's an average of all the tenants with your floor plan. This means that no matter what you personally use, you're still paying for someone's water use. I've never heard of that, ever. In the last 2 weeks, there have been 16 burglaries, 7 of which occurred in 1 night! Yes, you've read that correctly. Keep in mind you're not in a bad area nor are you paying super cheap rent. The management team is incredibly worthless and unhelpful. When I first looked at the location, they had someone brought from Colorado to show us around. He was friendly, charismatic, and really sold the place to my roommate and I. It turns out they used the old bait and switch: he doesn't actually manage this place. Furthermore, they turnover the staff so much that I have no clue who's in the office. To make matters even worse, the walls are so paper thin that I can hear my neighbor violently having sex at 3 in the morning. I'm not trying to cramp her style, but I don't like being woken up at the crack of dawn by what sounds like animals being tortured. I could go on and on but you get the gist. Like I said, I'm not being vindictive or looking to throw people under the bus. My main priority is to bring awareness to the craphole that is The Edge. Please I beg of you, find somewhere else to live. This place is unbearable and no one should have to live in a place like this. Yes they "look" nice but it's all an act. If you're looking for a safe, friendly, trustworthy place, keep looking because this isn't it!
