| - As the owner of a small business, I know just what you have to put into your business to obtain consistent, five-star reviews. So this is why I had to write in to praise Todd and Cheryl, owners of Cave Creek Outfitters. They run a tight, not-so-little outfit; and I patronised the place - hmmm, let's see? four times (!!) during a two week holiday in Scottsdale.
As young girls tend to do, I think I fell in love a little with my horse, Josie - a gaited filly that preferred to hop the fence with her hind legs rather than step over the bar - God bless her! I spent a total of eight hours with Josie and with my guide, Ed; a lovely man, kind and gentle - but is so damned attractive sitting a horse as to be a bit of a distraction. Ladies, be warned. Nicole, one of the other guides, is wonderful and I am happy to have gotten to know her as well during my stay.
And so we walked and trotted through the desert foothills, occasionally going off trail, looking for skeletal remains (I am an anthropologist) Indeed, I was able to find many and I am so very thankful to the kind and generous owners and guides at Cave Creek for giving to me such a personalized experience.
So if you are merely interested in a one or two-hour trail ride, for these experts, well, as the saying goes - it's a 'no-brainer.'
