  • My heater was working Monday night. I woke up Tuesday morning and Antarctica felt warmer than my house. I knew something was wrong. I called my home warranty company and placed a service request. A few hours later, I received a call from Air Squad. I was offered a next day appointment. The next day, I received a call from Jose telling me that he was on his way and will be at my house in a half hour. Because I was unable to be present, I arranged for another family member to let the technician inside. Jose arrived on time (between the scheduled appointment slot) and went right to work. He diagnosed the issue and changed out the ignition board. He was here for about an hour and change. My family member told me that Jose was friendly and had no issues completing the work. The cost to replace the board without the home warranty would have been $650 which I feel is grossly inflated. Nonetheless, I paid $75 which is cheaper than what heating supply stores charge for the part alone. I would call this company back again for future heating/cooling needs.
