I like going to black cat for the coffee and the people behind the counter. Sometimes I will stop by after work for a drink and chat - Justin is easy to talk to and will make you feel like a friend and not just a 'regular' paying customer.
The art displayed on the walls is by local artists (as is some of the music), and as it is for sale the exhibit changes constantly, which is nice.
I have not tried the much hyped breakfast sandwich (less fun for vegetarians), but I really do love the cinnamon rolls with whiskey (I think) icing. And of course the espresso is excellent!
