| - I suppose now that I am currently duchess of Dolce I owe them a review. Obviously I am fond of this place. I've had a few bad moments here and there over the last 8 years, but nothing that doesn't keep me returning. In fact, this year I finally broke down and became a member to take advantage of exclusive savings (e.g. 50% off retail products).
I've gotten a variety of services here, but I come here regularly for microdermabrasion with Jaime K. She's great at what she does so it's very reassuring to be able to book all my appointments with her. I don't get my nails done often, but when I do, it's only at Dolce. I have had bad experiences at other places. Most recently, Rosie did my nails, and it was a great appointment. She is so friendly and easy to talk to, and my manicure lasted a week instead of 1-2 days.
I don't get my haircut here since I've seen the same stylist for the last 16 years, but I often enjoy getting my hair styled after a facial since it's complimentary (but do tip at least $10!). The last two stylists I saw, Rochelle and Mia, were outstanding. Both really took their time and fave my fine hair lots of volume. I had a special occasion hairdo with Vy for my sister's wedding, and she did a great job. I got lots of compliments, and my hair stayed in place all night. Jocelyn did my sister's hair, and it turned out amazing.
Dolce is a smart business who started offering lots of deals and "hookups" when the economy was at its worse. If you see your self coming here at least a few times a year, it's good to invest in some hunnies (gift cards only for services) rather than waiting for the last minute hookups. That way you can see your preferred service providers at the most convenient time for you.
