  • This company has terrible business practices as it routinely lies to its customers! I needed a variety of organic herbs to treat my health condition, which is caused and made worse by herbicides and pesticides. So, I made clear to the staff that I needed ORGANIC herbs only. They told me that all of their herbs were wildcrafted, which makes them organic. So I bought a bunch of them, taking note of the company they purchase from. After phoning the company (Frontier) they informed me that NOT all of their products were organic nor wildcrafted. So, I phoned Evergreen to ask if the ones I had purchased were organic and, again, the staff told me that ALL of their herbs were wildcrafted. It wasn't until I threatened them with the information I obtained from Frontier that they went through each herb with me and admitted that NOT ONE of them was organic. And, out of the 5 types of organic calendula offered by Frontier, Evergreen sells the ONE that is non-organic. This tells me that this "health food" company cares more about a few extra cents than it does about the well-being of its customers! My health condition would have been made worse if I had used those herbs sold to me by deception. Now that I have spoken with friends about what happened to me, more stories of Evergreen's untruthful organic labelling have made there way out of the wormwood. Don't be fooled by the friendly staff, they only want your money.
