| - If I could give 0 stars, I would. I am supposed to move into The Met tomorrow (Sunday) and have had my lease signed for quite some time. I called into the office yesterday (Friday) just before 5pm to ask a simple question and was told, "oh by the way, your apartment won't be ready until Tuesday." So less than 2 days before I'm supposed to move, I find this out. And not because they notified me, but BECAUSE I CALLED THEM. The fact that I have a signed lease stating feb 5th, have paid all my deposits, turned on power, scheduled movers and utilities for Sunday apparently means nothing. It also means nothing that my current lease is over and I have no where to go with my belongings. Their offer to me was to move into a different floor plan which is $500/mo more at my original rent, but when my lease ends in a year it will go up to the normal price. I'm blown away at the blatant negligence and disregard for doing what is right and legal. Had I not called Friday night for something unrelated, I would have arrived Sunday morning with my things in a moving truck and nowhere to live. I'm not much better off at the moment and as far as I'm concerned, this company is comprised of crooks. Save yourself the trouble and money and just rent elsewhere.
