  • This was a seriously solid meal in terms of service, atmosphere and food. Top notch and well worth the meandering through Encore to find it (we were coming from Palazzo, so it was a bit of a walk). I had made a reservation on Open Table and would seriously suggest doing so as the dining room definitely filled up. We were seated in the back room with only a few tables and had the amazing Suzanne as our waitress (she just doesn't work Sundays and Mondays so ask for her if you go any other day and she'll treat you right!). I would definitely go back here and request outdoor seating when the weather is right! We all enjoyed our food immensely - I'll focus on what I ordered and what I tried. I started with a half order of the Agnolotti. It's not listed as a half order, but it's one of the options they can do that way (a little tip from Suzanne). The small pasta pockets were filled with butternut squash and in a lovely light olive oil sauce with great flavors infused. Each bit melted in my mouth with rich flavors, but didn't ever taste too heavy. My dining mates each ordered the Prosciutto (seriously enough to share - looked like 1 pound of Prosciutto!) and the Carpaccio di Bue (phenomenal!). The carpaccio beef was thinly sliced with a great salsa verde, arugula and Parmesan. It was melt in your mouth goodness. They bring a nice bread basket to the table and were accommodating with a special gluten free basket as we had one gluten free diner. The butter served with the bread was out of this world. For my main course, I followed Suzanne's recommendation and went for the veal Parmesan. I typically don't order a lot of veal as I think it can be done wrong and she said that it's her favorite thing on the menu after working there 8 years and she never orders veal anywhere else because this is so tender, you could cut it with a spoon. Truth, my friends - it was seriously tender. They thinly pounded it until it was the size of my plate or the size of my face and it was covered with Pomodoro sauce and melted mozzarella. I couldn't finish it all, but could barely stop eating because it was just THAT good. Needless to say, I did not save room for dessert. We had a nice bottle of wine with dinner that was kept chilled just to the side of the table. Lovely decor with pictures of Sinatra throughout and his music is playing in the dining room. As a side note, take time to go to the restrooms, as they were a sight in and of themselves. Seriously a fantastic experience!. And, to prove how personable they were, on the way out, the hostess that I had interacted with only once at the start of the meal thanked me by name and said she hoped I would return. Oh, yes, I will!
