I was pleasantly surprised by the interior. It is gorgeous, clean and welcoming. We were seated as a cozy, private booth that gave you enough space while also being intimate.
The menu is a bit overwhelming. We happened to be there on the first day of Restaurant Week so I decided to try it out. I ordered the Wedge Salad after asking several questions about it. The menu does not describe the items so little is known about it. For the Restaurant Week menu I was hoping my server would have told me more about the featured meals.
For the entree I ordered the pork tenderloin. It came with a citrus rum sauce. It was overall, just delicious. There is no way to describe it besides: amazing. The pork was tender and the sauce was a great compliment. It was served with mashed potatoes and spinach. They were well mashed without being liquidy. The spinach was boring. I used some of the pork sauce to eat with them. The spinach had no flavor. Though, my dinner companion was served corn. And it was SO spicy. Nowhere on the menu did is describe the corn as having red pepper flakes. While, most people like spicy, they usually liked to be warned about it. I took a big bite of corn and my mouth was burning.
Dessert! Great presentation! Wow. Seriously it was impressive. They brought out the six mini dessert options and you chose at your table. They are served in double shot type of glasses. This is MORE than enough dessert. Just enough to satisfy your sweet tooth. I ordered the raspberry cheesecake. It came with a touch of whip cream and graham crackers folded in. My only complaint? You can tell they are made several days ahead of time and not covered. The top was a little gummy. I pushed past it.
In general, I can not wait to go back and try something new.
