I like Raw, I've been a member for a few months now. Its a smaller setup, and the members really are like family. You can't come and go like at a gym, theres scheduled bootcamps.
Pros- good results
fun
classes from 5 am to 7:30 pm
child care in the sense you won't be kicked out if you have to bring a kiddo... but theres not staff to watch them
staff care and get to know you
cons- pricey
no showers/ changing rooms
As someone else mentioned the 6 week challenge which they are famous for isn't really "free".. You pay $300, and at the end of 6 weeks if you lost your 20 pounds you can get a check (or credit for the gym) back. You can try a week for free outside of the challenge though. But honestly what is free? Only the air you breathe. I think of it more as good marketing rather than lying as the other reviewer put it. If you can't invest in your body then how serious can you be?
