| - RUN -- DON'T WALK FROM THIS MALPRACTICE MILL!!
I had an APRIL 28 appointment for outpatient surgery to remove a large subdermal cyst. This is a procedure that would require an actual doctor.
By the time of my appointment, the cyst had become grossly infected and inflamed. I was seen by a nurse, then a physician assistant. The doctor never came in, not for a second! I was told the cyst too infected and inflamed to be removed at that time, and they scheduled a return appointment for MAY 18.
They changed the antibiotic I told them I was already on from my Primary Care Physician (Clindamycin) to an antibiotic that turned out to be weaker (Cephalexin).
When I saw no real improvement over the next several days, I called back on MAY 4 asking to be seen by an actual doctor, not just a nurse or PA, they told me the next available appointment to see an actual doctor would be in JULY -- more than 2 months away.
I told them I had a major infection, and CARE DELAYED IS CARE DENIED.
I also told them I had a follow up appointment already on the books for MAY 18, they said that appointment was to see a PA not a doctor.
They also claimed that my APRIL 28 appointment was to see the PA not a doctor, which was a total lie, because the original purpose of the APRIL 28 appointment was for outpatient surgery to remove the cyst -- a procedure which is ALWAYS performed by an actual doctor, NEVER by a PA.
My name is Michael Feldman and I approve this message.
