| - Great location, right off the fwy and lots of places to eat nearby (like walking distance). The lobby has been renovated so it has a very nice feel however the rooms need updating. Our room was very dated, the decor was dated and the bathroom had old tile and old shower. The pool is pretty small but it has a nice pool area with lots of shaded seating. The daily breakfast had a good variety of items. Fruit, yogurt, hot oatmeal, cold cereal, waffles, nutrigrain bars, toast, bagels, coffee, juice, tea etc. Can't really complain because it's free. Also they kept it stocked pretty well even with all the hungry baseball players and parents. I like that they put a bowl of fruit and nutrigrain bars in the hallway outside the elevators too because one of the days we had to be up early and the breakfast bar wasn't open yet. The gym is pretty small but gets the job done. 4 stars for our room not being cleaned on one of the days. We were gone all day and came back extremely tired and dirty after being at the dusty baseball fields all day and we had no clean towels/soap etc. I called downstairs and they not only sent towels up right away but upon checkout I noticed they credited our room $40 for it. That was a nice touch. Oh and there's fresh baked cookies in the lobby as well. This hotel would be PERFECT if they just updated their rooms like they did the lobby.
