| - If you decide to use Radiology Associates, Please make absolutely certain you know what they do for you and it's worth it. I was hospitalized a few years ago, I received a bill from Allied Debt Collection agency who is are Ruthless group of jerks to put it very lightly, and this is who Radiology Associates uses to collect any unpaid bills. I had no idea who Radiology Associates was, I never received a bill prior, and had no record of anything from them in the past. I was bullied and threatened with court to make monthly payments I could not afford, as I have many other medical bills I'm trying to catch up on, and when one payment was $40 short, instead of contacting me, they forwarded it to an attorney to which my balance went up an additional $500+ dollars (lawyer fee to draft a letter) , and were in the process of putting a lein on my house and garnishing my wages at 25%, even though the history showed I was making my payments. I still have no idea who this outfit is or why I owed them money. I'm not saying I didn't owe- I may have, but I'm really not clear on where. When you're in and out of consciousness and literally dying in a hospital, you're signing whatever clipboard they put in front of you including permission to take blood, waivers, and a million other things, but it was absolutely not clear on their part, and they made little if any effort to collect any debt from me to begin with prior to forwarding my account to a collection agency. I ended up having to take out a high interest loan from a payday loan place to pay it off because the payday loan places with their insanely high interest rates have higher standards of humanity than Allied Collection Agency. I absolutely do NOT recommend doing any business with this outfit if you can help it, and if you end up in a jam where you do end up owing the money, pay it asap by any means possible and don't get screwed like I did.
