I don't like leaving negative reviews, but as consumers we have to look out for each other. We bought our carpet in 2009 from Baker Brothers on Hayden and Chapparal. The salesman was nice and we were generally happy with the finished product. The same year our old, male cat started to pee and the smell wouldn't come out. We knew that in order to keep the warranty valid we had to call them and have the carpets professionally cleaned. The smell didn't come out. Long story short and multiple cats peeing over a five year period, we missed one of the needed professional cleanings every 12 months and lost our warranty. That sucks, but our bad. I left a message for Chris in Baker Brother's warranty department asking them to please come and replace the patches that smell like cat pee. Five days later with no return call, I called back and left another message for Chris. He returned my call later that afternoon and was immediately antagonistic. He said that they don't replace patches of carpet. I asked him to refer me to someone and he said that I'd have to go on line to find someone. I asked him why it took him five days to get back to me after I reached back out to tell me that and he got even less friendly. We can't possibly be the first people who want patches of carpet replaced. He explained that they'll do the whole room, but not a patch and was a total dick. He couldn't have cared less about our business or being a nice person, and he's their warranty person. I will never do business with Baker Brother's again. Never. Their warranty ain't no warranty.
