  • Boondocks is my "go to" bar in old town Scottsdale. The alcohol is cheaper than the other bars in the area and the food is very good as well. It has a great atmosphere (both indoors and outdoors) where you can play cornhole, ping pong, pool, various arcade games, and jenga. It's the perfect place to watch sports or just hang out. I was just there for the Super Bowl and it was packed. You have to stop here if you're looking for a cool bar that isn't your typical old town nightclub. Ask for Joe the bartender, he will take care of you and makes great drinks.
